1. Kamakhya Temple : This is a famous Shakti Peetha and one of the most visited religious places in Guwahati. It is dedicated to Goddess Kamakhya and is located on the Nilachal Hill.


 

2.  Umananda Temple : This is a Shiva temple located on the Peacock Island in the Brahmaputra River. It is one of the smallest inhabited river islands in the world and is accessible by ferry.

3. Navagraha Temple : This is a temple dedicated to the nine planets (Navagrahas) and is located on the Chitrachal Hill. It is a popular pilgrimage spot for those who believe in astrology.

4. Basistha Temple : This is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and is located in the Basistha Ashram. The temple is situated on the banks of the Basistha River and is surrounded by hills and forests.
